Ghost Detective

Feature Design:

  • First 1.5 years responsible for fleshing out most meta game features and supporting implementation
  • Therefore working together with many different departments all the time (Art, Dev, Product, UX, Writing,…)

Economy Design + Programming:

  • Following 2.5 years responsible for economy (since pandemic broke out it took too long to find an Economy Designer – so I was asked whether I could imagine doing it)
  • Wrote whole balancing code directly in C# in Unity
  • Used Simulator to simulate economy for different player types
  • Iterated economy based on soft launch data
  • Implementation of switch from a F2P economy to an economy that works with the Netflix Games audience
